Harp Workshop

Join us on 1st February for a workshop and solo concert with Ben Creighton Griffiths - Music 

Workshop 10am-3pm, Concert 7.30pm

Workshop: Ben will introduce participants to the first steps of preparing a real jazz standard - including playing the melody, interpreting the harmony of chord charts, improvising, and more. No previous experience in jazz or improvisation is necessary - just the enthusiasm to get stuck in! This workshop is suitable for both lever and pedal harps.

Concert: (more info here) Ben will delve into his extensive jazz repertoire to perform a mixture of well known jazz standards and original compositions across many styles. Expect to hear swing classics, latin Bossa nova, and modern jazz performed on the harp!
