The Music Aberdeen website is a one-stop shop for both musicians and audiences alike. It provides a single location for upcoming performances, festivals and concert series, helping to direct the Aberdeen audience towards all of the vibrant music-making going on here. Our Ensembles and Artists page is a directory of all the different music-making groups and, if open to new members, provides information of how to join.

Ensembles and Artists

Music Aberdeen provides a wealth of opportunities designed to help you thrive in the North East of Scotland's vibrant music scene. Here are some benefits membership can bring:

  • Profile Visibility: Each Ensemble or Artist, has their own dedicated page in the Ensembles and Artists section of our website. This will include a description of your group, information on how new members can get involved, and, if available, a link to your own website, offering you enhanced exposure.
  • Event Promotion: All your events will be featured on the 'What's On' section of the Music Aberdeen website, reaching thousands of music enthusiasts across the region. We hope our platform will be a major hub for concert-goers looking for the next local performances and music events.
  • Newsletter: Your events will be featured in our regular newsletters (TBA). Community Connection: Join a network of around 70 music-making organisations in the area. Collaborate, share, and celebrate your passion for music with more people in more places.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Efforts: Our website builder is implementing strong SEO strategies to ensure our 'What's On' page will display prominently online. This means that when anyone searches for music concerts in Aberdeen, our website is designed to be one of the top results, making it a powerful way to promote your events.
  • Collaboration Opportunities: Enjoy enhanced opportunities to collaborate on joint ventures with other members, such as organising concerts with groups you haven't previously worked with or performing at unfamiliar venues through invitations from a promoter.
  • Boosted Ticket Sales: Our vision is for Music Aberdeen to become the go-to destination for local audiences seeking music events. This one-stop shop approach, combined with our newsletters and social media channels, aims to increase your event visibility. This broader reach and targeted promotion could potentially boost your ticket sales, easily offsetting and surpassing the cost of your Music Aberdeen membership.
