Shelley Levy leads a busy life as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher. In 2019 she played for us with the Ensemble Burletta, with whom she has recorded chamber music for clarinet and strings by Hans Gál, whose sonata we will hear along with popular sonatas by Brahms and Poulenc. Her Brazilian pianist partner, Clelia Iruzun, possesses a unique combination of a colourful Brazilian spirit and profound musicianship and this bodes well for an exciting programme from this Duo.
