NAFCo in Braemar

Part of North Atlantic Fiddle Convention
Date
Venue
St Margaret's

Join us in Braemar for a special North Atlantic Fiddle Convention concert celebrating the rich traditions and connections of the North Atlantic. This unique evening features a very special collaboration between Troy MacGillivray, Janine Randall and Liz Doherty, created to mark NAFCo’s 25th anniversary and bringing together artists who have been part of the festival since its earliest days. Canadian star Mary Frances Leahy brings her electrifying musicianship to the stage, while rising trio Cuan — Rachel Henderson, Rae MacIver and Kathleen MacDonald, all recent graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland — showcase exciting new talent on the folk scene. Represeting the North East and founding member of Old Blind Dogs, Jonny Hardie joins the line-up with Pete MacCallum, making this a fantastic night of music in the heart of Deeside.
