Llewelyn Blezard-Greenwell is an nineteen year old organist, harpist and pianist. He lives in the North East of England in County Durham and has been studying music since the age of four, when he started learning the piano. He started playing the organ at the age of ten when a local parish church (St Mary’s, Gainford) was offering an apprenticeship for a young person who wished to learn the instrument.

Since that point he has held organ scholar posts in two prestigious locations (Ripon Cathedral and Yarm Parish Church), and has also been appointed Associate Organist at Gainford. He is currently the Organ Scholar of St. Davids Cathedral, Pembrokeshire, where he is studying for his ARCO (Associateship of the Royal College Organists) diploma. He has had the honour of playing recitals both nationally and internationally, particularly worthy of note are Licheń Basilica (Poland), Aberdeen Cathedral, Halifax Minster, Ripon Cathedral, St Mary Redcliffe, Lund Cathedral (Sweden), St. Bees Priory and Confolens Parish Church (France). In his 2026 series, he is set to perform in Sweden, Austria, Denmark, England, Scotland, and Wales. He has also won awards in competitions from an early age, most notably receiving the highest mark in his Grade 3 piano in the country for that year when he was 8 years old.

He has also toured as a choral singer, singing in locations such as Westminster Abbey, Regensburg Cathedral (Germany), and Waldsassen Basilica (Germany). As well as this, he has been featured by the BBC on radio, television, and in written broadcasts.

In the future, he would like to study music further, and eventually become a Cathedral Director of Music. He has been appointed the Assistant Organist of Beverley Minster, where he shall commence work in September 2026.
