Organ Recital

I began my musical journey in Hong Kong, starting piano at the age of four and violin at ten.
I graduated from the University of Aberdeen with upper-second class honours in piano performance. During my studies, I achieved the ATCL piano diploma and the ARSM violin diploma, and was awarded NESMS scholarships in piano and violin from 2021 to 2025.
I am currently preparing for my LTCL piano diploma while pursuing a Master of Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University. I have been learning organ for seven months and am working towards my Grade 5 organ exam.
Chloe McNicol
I have been playing piano for almost 16 years and hold a Grade 8 in piano performance. I am currently studying in the music degree programme at the University of Aberdeen and preparing for the LRSM diploma. At university, I perform a wide range of repertoire, both solo and in various ensembles of early and contemporary music. In 2025, I received a scholarship to attend the advanced piano masterclass at Chetham's International Piano Summer School in Manchester.
I have been playing organ for a year and am currently preparing for my Grade 6 organ exam.
Harry Thomson
I am 25 years old and I’m mildly autistic. I have been playing organ for more than two years and recently completed my Grade 4 and 5 organ exams with distinction. Previously, I studied piano from the age of 10 and achieved Grade 8 exam. I graduated with BMus degree in Music from the University of Aberdeen and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music. One of my special interests is composition, and I have written several organ pieces myself.
Kamil Mika
I serve as Organist at St James Episcopal Church in Aberdeen, where I also teach organ and give regular recitals. I am also President of the Aberdeen and District Organists’ Association and an Associate of the Royal College of Organists, now working towards the RCO Fellowship Diploma.
I graduated with an MMus in organ performance from the Academy of Music in Krakow and Gutenberg University in Mainz. I have participated in several organ masterclasses in Europe, including the Haarlem Organ Festival, studying with distinguished professors.
As a recitalist, I have performed at music festivals across Europe in venues such as the Chapel of the Royal Palace in Madrid, St Paul’s Cathedral in London, St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh, the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø, Uzhgorod Philharmonic, the cathedrals of Barcelona, Salamanca, Tallinn, and Leeds, the Universities of Glasgow and St Andrews and Ayr Town Hall, as well as in prominent churches in Budapest, Padova, Prague, Seville, Vienna, and beyond. I have also performed on the organ with ensembles, orchestras, and choirs, including concerts with the Aberdeen Bach Choir at St Machar’s Cathedral, Uzghorod Philharmonic Orchestra on Ukraine and Pori Sinfonietta in Finland as well as a recording for BBC Radio 4 with the University of Aberdeen Chapel Choir.
