The Beautiful Storm

Scottish saxophone titan Phil Bancroft brings over three decades of experience to this latest project, bringing together the internationally renowned veteran talents of Graeme Stephen (guitar) and Gyan Singh (tabla). Weaving together a vast array of influences from within and outside of the jazz tradition, The Beautiful Storm experiments with Indian raga forms and Celtic accents to emphasise Bancroft's deeply improvisational style with sprawling melodies and rhythms that span cultures as well as time signatures.
