Piano Four Hand workshop

Nigel Clayton and duet partner Imma Setiadi will be returning to give another Four Hand Piano workshop. 

Exact timings are yet to be confirmed, but we are planning for this event to happen over the weekend of the 8th/9th March. 

This will be taking place during the weekend after both Nigel and Imma’s own Cowdray Hall Lunchbreak Concert on Thursday 6th March.

Workshop 1730 – 1830 on Saturday

Saturday March 8th

Duet lessons: 2—5pm (other morning slots available by request) 

Workshop: 5.30—6.30pm (followed by a short welcome party)

An afternoon for any existing or newly formed pairings to work through four-hand repertoire with both Nigel and Imma. Each pair will receive two 45 minute sessions, one each with Nigel and Imma. The workshop will explore some special tricks and techniques that will increase your enjoyment in duet playing.

Sunday March 9th

Duet lessons: 10am ¦ Recital 1pm

Morning duet lessons, run as those on Saturday are, followed by a recital showcasing pieces participants have been working on. Nigel and Imma will conclude the weekend with a performance of “Jeux d’enfants” Op.22 by Bizet in his anniversary year.

Any piano pairings wishing to take part should book below. Fee of £50 per pair for lessons.

Donation entry to attend the recital and workshop. Due to limited space in the studio please let us know below if you would like to reserve a seat for either event.
