Bingham String Quartet

The Bingham String Quartet has gained an international reputation for both its interpretation of the classical repertoire and a fresh and exciting approach to new music. The quartet has toured extensively in the UK and abroad, and make regular appearances at the Purcell Room and at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London. Included in their many recordings are some of the many quartets by English composer, Elizabeth Maconchy, one of which is included in the programme for us.
