Steve Kettley’s Master Planners – Tribute to Pharaoh Sanders

Date
Venue
The Blue Lamp

Steve Kettley, well known for his exploits with Orange Claw Hammer, Pygmy Twylyte, Cauld Blast Orchestra, Salsa Celtica and many more, brings his octet to the Blue Lamp to celebrate the music of saxophone legend Pharoah Sanders, a disciple of Coltrane – but a musical giant in his own right and one of the founding fathers of spiritual jazz. Who better to pay tribute to a much-missed legend than saxophonist Steve Kettley and his talented ensemble, ‘The Master Planners’.
