Fine Times + Aiysha Russell + SOOAKXA & Eye Suriyanon
Part of Aberdeen Jazz Festival 2024Fine Times have been building up a strong following on the Aberdeen underground club scene over the past couple of years. Their curated nights, brought to life by a collective of local creatives and musicians, feature a fresh line up of live acts, DJs and visual performances - serving up a diverse mix of everything from ambient, dub and cosmic disco through to a fuller dancefloor workout.
March's edition is a special collaboration with Jazz Scotland and will welcome Aberdonian singer-songwriter, Aiysha Russell, whose star has been steadily rising since her 2019 appearance on The Voice. We also welcome Glasgow-based duo 'SOOAKXA + Eye Suriyanon' who'll weave an ‘Aberdeenshire jazz’ infused live audiovisual performance.
Headlining the later part of the night is London based Tici Taci Records supremo, Duncan Gray and Welsh producer, The Long Champs (Lloyd Jones), the latter making his UK debut. Expect a dance floor filled with chuggy acid love.
Completing the bill are esteemed Fine Times regulars Nebyudelic Sound System and Nina Stanger along with a line-up of visual performers including Russel Dust, Olive and Anya, Maddie Edwards, Shae Myles and Jonny Bell.
