From the Underworld to the Top of the World

The University’s two largest instrumental ensembles return to the Music Hall for their annual double-bill of musical showpieces. This year’s concert offers a programme of orchestral music loosely inspired by Greek mythology (including works by Beethoven, Offenbach, Holmès and Debussy), alongside an opulent programme of concert band classics including Frank Ticheli’s American Elegy and a medley of the Carpenters’ greatest songs.
