Ensemble type
Orchestra

Were you born without any musical talents? Are you too old to learn a new instrument? Well you've come to the right place, because in our ensemble for the adults of Torry, hopeless cases are welcome!

The Torry Community Orchestra, 'The Noise', is an ensemble for community members working or living in Torry. We meet for an hour each week to play and learn about music in a relaxed and friendly environment. No experience of reading music or playing an instrument is needed. Free tuition. Free instrument. Free fun!

We currently offer group lessons in violin, viola, cello, and double bass. We often perform in concerts with the children and sometimes participate in other community events or outings, as well.

Learning to play a musical instrument is challenging but very rewarding, and you will be able to experience for yourself just how much the children at Big Noise are achieving.
