Grampian Concert Orchestra is a community orchestra based in Aberdeen, serving the Grampian area of North East Scotland. Formed in 1998, it rehearses weekly and performs regularly in and around the Aberdeen area.

A friendly, high quality, all-year-round, amateur, classical recording and performing orchestra based in Aberdeen, North-East Scotland.

The aims of GCO are to offer a regular outlet for musicians in the Grampian area to practise and perform their art regardless of age, background or income and have opportunities to meet like-minded individuals.

Getting involved

If you play an orchestral instrument, then GCO is for you!  Applications are welcome immediately from the instruments below. There are waiting lists for some sections of the orchestra.  Please contact us to ask about available positions.
