He is excited to be performing today on an eighteenth-century Parisian instrument that was recently gifted to him by a generous benefactor.
Ronnie Gibson is a local-authority peripatetic music instructor and community-music practitioner. He has written extensively on the history of Scottish fiddle music and gained a reputation for writing interesting and effective arrangements of folk tunes from around the world.
