I'm Arthur Ely, usually playing as Ambient Bones. I'm based in Washington in the NE of England and have family connections in Aberdeen, which is how I came across your events on a visit last year. Have recently played at a Soundscapism event at Banshee Labyrinth pub in Edinburgh, and at an Ambient Leeds event, as well as many in my home area.
My music is generally in the ambient/soundscapy/ meditative area for venues such as this. I play guitar through reverb and delay pedals to imitate/enhance the cathedral ambience, sometimes with some sound effects (bells, chimes, drony vocal chants)
Usually I'll start from a previously composed/created piece such as those I've posted on Soundcloud under the name Ambient Bones, and improvise based on that starting point. It can go into light classical (Pachelbel's Canon), soundtrack (Godfather Theme), jazz (Miles Davis' All Blues) and Blues. Depends on the feel of the venue and event.
Have recently been creating live music for Soundbaths and Meditation sessions.
