A Celebration of Choral Favourites

Aberdeen Bach Choir & Joseph Beech
Date
Venue
St Machar's Cathedral

The Aberdeen Bach Choir are currently celebrating our 70th anniversary year and on 25 April 2026 we will perform a very special concert comprised of a selection of choral favourites from the baroque era to the 20th century including pieces by Britten, Finzi, Bruckner, Monteverdi, Parry, Ireland and of course J.S. Bach.

We are delighted that the esteemed Joseph Beech, Sub-Organist at Durham Cathedral, will be performing two solo pieces as well as accompanying our celebratory repertoire. Joseph is the principal accompanist to Durham Cathedral Choir, playing the organ for daily services in addition to the choir’s schedule of broadcasts, concerts, recordings and tours.

Tickets to our concert are now on sale through ticketsource and we hope you will join us to experience inspiring live music in a magnificent setting, be part of our special anniversary year, and help us fill St Machar’s cathedral with music and celebration.
