Tern
Named after the migrating bird of the Nordic regions, Tern is a 5-piece band composed of Rose Logan (Fiddle, SCO), Kristina Leesik (Fiddle, SE), Lea Søndergaard Larsen (Bodhrán, DK), Dan Brown (Piano, ENG), Chris Amer (Guitar, SCO).Tern combines original music with innovative arrangements of traditional music from Scotland and Scandinavia, immersing audiences in a distinctly Nordic soundscape.
Since winning the Danny Kyle Open Stage in 2023, they have played throughout Scotland and Scandinavia, and recently launched their debut album, Flyway, at Celtic Connections 2025.
