Odysseus Piano Trio
Part of Aberdeen Chamber Music ConcertsThe Welsh-based Odysseus Piano Trio was founded in 2015 and comprises three highly acclaimed musicians.
Violinist Sara Trickey has a busy career as a soloist and chamber musician and teacher; she also plays in the Joachim String Trio and plays regularly in a duo with pianist Daniel Tong. Rosie Biss is the principal cellist in the orchestra of Welsh National Opera. Hungarian pianist Domonkos Csabay studied at the Liszt Academy and then at the Birmingham Conservatoire; as a solo pianist he has won many prizes, and he performs concertos regularly with various orchestras.
As a trio, they are building an excellent reputation and their appearance here is part of a Scottish Tour. We are glad that they will play a piece by Scottish composer, Helen Grime
