Postcards
"Postcards," a journey around the world from north to south through listening to some of the most beautiful pieces in the solo guitar repertoire. The concert will also be interactive: it will be the audience who decides whether to travel from north to south or vice versa.
Maurizio Baudino
Guitarist, teacher and composer, Maurizio Baudino graduated at the "G. F. Ghedini" Conservatory of Cuneo with first class honours and attended different masterclasses with Maestros A. Pierri, T. Hoppstock, S. and O. Assad, C. Marchione, P. Steidl, E. Isaac. He owes the improvement of his musical and instrumental education to Maestros G. Bandini and G. Puddu, who guided him through his successful studies for the Second Level Academic Diploma, earned first-class honours. He also expanded his knowledge of chamber music at the notorious Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola. He won several prizes in many competitions, and he performs both in solo and chamber ensembles.
With Glissato publishing, he published his first collection of gradual pieces for the first year of guitar studies and two collections of intermediate level with Sinfonica publishing. He's been particularly fond of teaching therefore he's regularly invited to teach in different masterclasses, so as to be a member of the jury in national and international competitions. He's actually teaching classical guitar at the "E. Bianchi" high school in Cuneo. Knobloch Strings Artist, he plays guitars by Alberto Risi and Fernando Mazza.
