Today's Performers:

Euphonia is a new ensemble - we only formed in the summer of this year. The idea to form this group came when Mirjam first went to Cathedral at Noon to listen to a performance: "Being in this fantastic space filled my imagination with what this could be like for a small ensemble. I could just hear it in my mind, how the building would carry the sound. I knew I had to try and get a group together." And so it happened. Each of us also play in other music groups, such as Aberdeen Folk Orchestra, Aberdeen University Concert Band and Grampian Concert Orchestra. While today we play folk, we enjoy music from many different genres and eras. Our aim is to share the love of music, the language of sounds, rhythms and melodies that transcend the spoken word.
