Andrea Bonioli Trio

Italian drum maestro Andrea Bonioli makes his Blue Lamp debut with a world class trio featuring Raf Ferrari on piano and Andrea Colella on double bass. A gifted musician and composer, Andrea has a rich and varied CV including collaborations with musicians as diverse as the legendary Ennio Morricone and Roger Waters. Raf Ferrari makes a welcome return to the Blue Lamp following his standout show at the 2023 Aberdeen Jazz Festival. The trio will be showcasing music from Andrea’s latest recording ‘Figli Forever’ and the Blue Lamp audience can expect melody and rhythm with plenty space for group interplay and improvisation. With influences from popular music, rock and prog informing Andrea’s contemporary jazz style, this promises to be another great Blue Lamp night.
