Junior Section – Taster Session
We are pleased to announce that over lunchtime on Saturday 5th October we are running a “Taster Session” at Robert Gordons College buildings in the town.
The session is open to youngsters up to 19 years of age who are seeking ways to play more with others. It is such a rewarding activity in so many different ways and good for one’s self esteem.
There will be two sessions:-
- Beginners : 11.00 – 12.15
- Intermediate 12.45 -14.00
Bring your own instrument if you have one, music for the sessions will be provided and is likely to be available ahead of the event if you let us know you plan to attend.
Contact our society secretary through eMail (secretary@aberdeenstrathspey.org.uk) to book your place and get exact details of the venue etcetera.
We will be playing primarily Scottish Music for a couple of hours. Several existing members of the society will be there too to provide guidance and lead the way.
