Giz Giz Youth Theatre is Aberdeen's longest running youth dramatic organisation. Giz Giz was founded by the late Annie Inglis (MBE) over 30 years ago and was still heavily involved with the group until her passing on 1st April 2010. Those who have worked with Annie will agree that she was an inspirational figure in Aberdeen's amateur theatre circuit and encouraged many to fulfil their dream of becoming a professional performer. Many of our past members have gone on to work in the industry - most notably, joyce Falconer (River City), Lisa Milne (International Opera Singer), Marc McFadyen (Starlight Express), Tearlach Duncanson (Straight Theatre), Brian Elrick (Godspell - nominated for best actor in a musical off west end awards), Colin McGregor (Buddy Holly UK tour, Disney cruise ships) and Amy Lennox (Legally Blonde and 9-5 UK tour).

Giz Giz is a youth organisation providing children aged 8-18 with fun, learning and discipline through the arts. We help children gain confidence while performing and in everyday life. Giz Giz have performed a wide variety of plays and musicals throughout the years such as Annie, Oliver, Bye Bye Birdie, The Boyfriend, Smike, Grease, Bugsy Malone and have just completed its 2014 show, Singin’ in the Rain.
