Banchory Strathspey & Reel Society

Banchory Strathspey & Reel Society welcomes fiddle and accordion players of all ages. There is no membership fee to join the Society, but players are expected to play concerts and at local venues from time to time.

Getting involved

Juniors 7pm – 7.45pm
For beginners and those re-familiarising themselves with the fiddle and Scottish Traditional Music.

Intermediates and Seniors 7.45pm – 9.00pm
Open to all members, this group plays tunes chosen by the members, and if a concert or competition is in the offing, then we will work on those sets to get them ready for the performance.
